L.A. Meekly: A Los Angeles History Podcast
L.A. Meekly is a monthly comedy podcast about Los Angeles history put out by comedians Greg Gonzalez and Daniel Zafran that battles the idea that LA has no history by delving in the weird, unbelievable and, occasionally, haunted details from the past of their native city.

Warm up your Zunes, we've got a brand new Meekly Music Box for you. This month we are thrilled to feature The Sloppy Boys (Mike Hanford, Jeff Dutton and Tim Kalpakis). Daniel will gush endlessly about their comedy credentials and Greg will tap his toes to the beat while we listen to "Here for the Beer" and "Tha Mastah Bong Rippah."

This summer. There's only one podcast dedicated entirely to talking about action movies that took place in Los Angeles. And if there is more than one, ignore the rest. This month we're covering a few of the classic L.A. action movies from the Terminator to Speed delving into filming locations and what role the city plays in them (if any).
